Event
on 11 November 1022, Emperor Henry II issued a deed of donation in Augsburg for his favourite foundation, Bamberg Cathedral, founded in 1007. This was the first time that Krümmel, then known as Crumbele, was mentioned in a document. Krümmel is thus one of the oldest settlements in the entire Westerwald district.
With your support, we want to celebrate this historically significant festival together. On the weekend of 20-21 August, we would be delighted to welcome you as our guest. Celebrate a festival of the homeland with us! A tent will be erected right next to our historic village chapel in Kirchweg and many activities will be organised to celebrate the anniversary in a dignified setting. For about a year now, many active parishioners have been meeting to create the festive setting.
