The entire region is already looking forward to the 20th Kirchener Stadtfest with Martinsmarkt. The annual event highlight presents itself in the city centre from Rathausplatz via Linden-, Brücken- and Bahnhofstraße to Bahnhofsvorplatz. With great commitment and many great ideas, many associations, companies, market suppliers, artists, retailers and private individuals are involved in the large-scale event again and again and will invite you to stroll through the streets and the adjoining public buildings.
For the live stage programme, local music and dance groups and clubs are recommended non-stop from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the upper parking deck in Lindenstraße. The Association of Community Youth Care organises special talents for a varied children's and family programme. Afterwards the big Stadtfest-Finale with two bands takes place from 18 o'clock.
The retailers invite you to an open Sunday. The three parishes celebrate an ecumenical service on the stage of the parking deck at 11 o'clock.
The town of Kirchen (Sieg) wishes all visitors from near and far an entertaining and varied day in churches, the pearl on the river Sieg.
