As part of our "Abenteuer Heimat" event series, you can visit the forest of final rest on this date - on a guided tour through the "FriedWald" Friesenhagen.
The FriedWald Wildenburger Land in Crottorfer Wald near Friesenhagen is characterised by its rich structure. Managed naturally since time immemorial, it is home to many different plants: Whether small flowering plants on the ground, larger bushes and shrubs at eye level or towering deciduous and coniferous trees - they are all at home here. The 110-hectare area with beech, hornbeam, oak, larch and fir trees is the ideal place for a peaceful burial, especially for nature-loving people. The cemetery's three places of worship are the central places of remembrance and commemoration.
During a joint walk through the burial forest, the FriedWald foresters explain burial in nature - from grave types and costs to the selection of the right tree and the organisation of burials. During the one-hour tour, you can also ask questions about FriedWald and discover the beauty of the forest.
The meeting point is the information board at the Friedwald car park, navigation point: Crottorfer or Krottorfer Straße, 51598 Friesenhagen.
The event in the series "Abenteuer Heimat" costs €5.00 for adults and €2.00 for children up to 12 years of age and is payable in cash to the tour guide on site.
