The Dillenburg Winterzauber invites you to linger in the cosy atmosphere of Wilhelmsplatz in the city centre, making it another popular meeting place in the run-up to Christmas. In addition to an extensive range of food and drink, visitors to the Christmas village can look forward to musical highlights and other great activities during the almost five-week opening period. For example, on the second weekend of Advent on Saturday, 7 December from 12:00 - 17:00, creative exhibitors will set up their stands in the middle of the market. Visitors will then have the opportunity to shop to their heart's content for small Christmas gifts or winter accessories. The Advent market offers all kinds of creative and decorative items for the (pre-)Christmas season, winter accessories such as hats and scarves, spice mixes, jams, liqueurs, home-made bags, knitted items, lovingly crafted baby clothes, artistic stone carvings and handmade little things made from wood and other materials. Employees of the town's tourist information centre and members of the Dillenburg-Donsbach Wildlife Park Association will also be exhibiting attractive Dillenburg and wildlife park souvenirs.
