Guided tour through the town center of Mehren
As part of our event series "Adventure Homeland", you will visit the half-timbered village Mehren on this date.
Mehren (approximately 480 residents) is characterized by its many well-preserved half-timbered houses. The historic town center and the Mehren Church, a Romanesque basilica from the 11th/12th century, are listed as protected monuments. In addition to the legends surrounding the "Bulles'je," the former village jail from the 16th century, there are numerous stories, interesting facts, and sights to discover and learn about. The beautiful open-air stage at a pond area invites you to take a break afterwards.
Also running directly through Mehren is the "Legend Trail": As the Kleine Wäller with 4.6 km, you can discover even more legends and tales during the themed round tour through the Mehrbach Valley. This short route offers a perfect individual extension to our event and is well-marked!
