Daily and year-round campsite - pedal boats - swimming - sunbathing
Located near Fuchskaute, the highest elevation in the Westerwald, at the foot of Höllberg, lies the Heisterberger Weiher in a picturesque Westerwald landscape.
A campsite with modern accessible sanitary facilities is attached to Heisterberger Weiher, which is open year-round and popular with both day and long-term camping guests.
A children's playground and volleyball court are available.
The water area of 9.6 hectares invites swimming, and water sports opportunities are provided by the local boat rental.
On the spacious sunbathing lawns, one can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The offering is rounded off by a restaurant with a kiosk.
In summer, cycling and hiking trails expand the recreational offerings.
Taking dogs and swimming with them at the lake is allowed outside of the official swimming beach and sunbathing area.
