Additional information

From cozy 1-bedroom apartments to spacious 3-bedroom accommodations, we offer a wide selection for solo and business travelers, couples, families, and groups. We also have accessible, wheelchair-friendly apartments.

All apartments feature their own small kitchenette as well as a private bathroom.

Check-in and check-out can be done contactless. However, a contact person is available 24 hours a day for any questions.

Private parking is available for free at the property. No reservation is required.

Smoking is not permitted. Pets are not allowed.

Out of respect for other guests, parties and events are prohibited.

AGB FOR THE RENTAL OF HOLIDAY APARTMENTS / SERVICE APARTMENTS AT COLAKATION.

§ 1 Scope of the AGB

(1) These General Terms and Conditions apply to contracts for the rental of holiday apartments/service apartments for accommodation, as well as all other services and deliveries provided by the provider. The provider's services are provided exclusively on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions.

(2) The subletting or re-letting of the rented holiday apartment, as well as its use for purposes other than accommodation, requires the prior written consent of the provider.

§ 2 Booking / Booking Confirmation

Booking requests can be submitted via the booking platform on the website or in writing to info@colakation.de. Alternatively, you can contact us by phone.
After a successful review, you will receive a written confirmation of the booked holiday apartment, as well as the invoice or the rental agreement. Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, the reservation becomes legally binding.

§ 3 Payment Terms and Deposit

The total amount must be transferred to the specified account by the date indicated in the rental agreement/invoice.
For long-term rentals, the remaining payment must be transferred to the provider's account no later than one month before arrival.
For short-term bookings, the total price must be paid immediately upon receipt of the rental agreement/invoice. In exceptional cases, cash payment or credit card payment on arrival may be made after prior agreement.

The minimum rental period is 1 night, and the maximum rental period is limited to 90 days (exceptions with written consent possible).

A deposit (see price list) is required for each property. This will be stated in the rental agreement/invoice and will be refunded either in cash on-site upon damage-free handover of the property or transferred to the specified account.

If payment is not made on time, we reserve the right not to release the room/apartment and to charge all incurred costs.

§ 4 Arrival and Departure

The holiday apartment will be available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Please inform us at least 1-2 days before arrival of your expected arrival time.
The keys will be handed over contactlessly via key boxes, and the code will be sent to you shortly before check-in.

On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated and broom-cleaned by 10:00 AM, unless a later check-out has been agreed. Used dishes must be cleaned, and the trash bins emptied.

A later check-out can be arranged at the time of booking or during your stay. For check-out between 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM, half the daily rate will be charged. This is only possible with prior written consent.

§ 5 Condition of the Holiday Apartment

The holiday apartment will be handed over in a clean and orderly condition. If there are any defects or if any occur during the rental period, they must be reported to the landlord immediately. The tenant is liable for all damages caused by them or their fellow travelers. This also applies to lost keys. The house rules are hereby part of the contract.

§ 6 Pets

Pets are generally not allowed in the holiday apartments at Colakation. An exception can be made after prior notification (with costs per pet) and with written consent.

§ 7 Stay

The holiday apartment may only be occupied by the persons listed in the booking. Over-occupancy will result in an additional charge or immediate termination of the rental agreement. The transfer of the rental agreement or subletting is prohibited.

§ 8 Cancellation by the Tenant

Cancellation of the rental agreement/reservation must be made in writing. The following compensation fees apply:

  • Up to 2 months before the arrival date: no cancellation fee
  • Up to 1 month before the arrival date: 50% of the rental price
  • Up to 2 weeks before the arrival date: 80% of the rental price
  • Up to 1 week before the arrival date: 90% of the rental price
  • From 6 days before the arrival date or in the event of no-show: 100% of the rental price.

It is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.

§ 9 Cancellation by the Landlord

The landlord reserves the right to cancel the contract in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, any amounts already paid will be refunded. There is no claim for compensation.

§ 10 Landlord's Liability

The landlord is liable for the provision of the holiday apartment within the framework of the statutory duty of care. The landlord is not liable for force majeure or interruptions in water and electricity supply.

§ 11 Use of Internet Access via WLAN

The tenant may use the landlord’s WLAN during their stay. The transfer of access data to third parties is prohibited. The landlord assumes no liability for the availability or security of the WLAN.

§ 12 Written Form

Changes or additions to the contract must be made in writing. Verbal agreements are not valid.

§ 13 Choice of Law and Jurisdiction

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the location of the company.

§ 14 Lost or Forgotten Items

Colakation GmbH assumes no liability for personal belongings that are lost or forgotten in the holiday apartment during the stay. If you notice after your stay that you have forgotten something, please contact us immediately. Found items will be kept for up to 3 days. Upon request, the items can be sent back to the guest at their expense. After the retention period, the landlord reserves the right to dispose of the items or donate them to charity.

§ 15 Data Protection

Colakation is committed to complying with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Personal data is processed solely for the purpose of contract fulfillment and will not be shared with third parties unless required for contract fulfillment or by law. For further information, please refer to our privacy policy.

§ 16 Severability Clause

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.

Travel arrangements

Information on Arrival and Departure at Colakation

Welcome to Colakation! We want to make your stay as pleasant and uncomplicated as possible. Here you will find all the important information regarding your check-in and check-out:

Check-In

Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM and is conducted contactlessly via a key box. This key box is located directly at the building, allowing you to arrive flexibly at a later time. You will receive the code for the key box via email on the day of your arrival. This way, you can check in calmly and independently of our opening hours.

Check-Out

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to leave the apartment by 10:00 AM. If no later check-out has been arranged, we ask you to leave the apartment broom clean, wash the dishes, and empty the trash bins.

Early Arrival or Late Check-Out

If you wish for an early check-in (earlier than 3:00 PM) or a late check-out (later than 10:00 AM), this can be arranged for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you.
