Every 2nd Friday of the month from May to October, conscious consumers can buy specialties from the countryside and the region in a beautiful, sophisticated farmers' market right outside the gates and in the old threshing hall in a wonderful rural setting.
At over 30 stands, you can choose from German ham and cheese specialties, including Hessian sausage specialties, and organic cheese from the cow, fruit and vegetables, eggs, honey, vintner wines from Rheinhessen, liqueurs and brandies from the Rheingau, fresh farmhouse bread, as well as olive oils from Italy, wool and handicraft accessories, decorative items and much more. Even when the weather is not so good, the Dreschhalle offers space to brave the weather in the dry and warm with a cup of free coffee.
Ample parking is available and signposted.
