Would you like to experience Greifenstein Castle at a completely different time of day? Maybe after dusk? The Greifenstein is staged with light after dusk. The castle appears almost mystical and mysterious in this light, especially in autumn and winter.
On the watchman's walk between the roundabout and the new gate, the guards are now on the move. Because of the approaching darkness and increasing coolness, they pull their cloak or coat a little tighter together. They attentively observe the terrain beyond the mighty walls through the wafting fog.
At this time of day, the residents of the castle are drawn to the warming fire inside the buildings. If you don't have to be outside, you'd rather not be outside the buildings in sparse lighting and maybe encounter fiends or ghosts. Are you taking part in guided tours at dusk?
