When the jazz band Schräglage picks up their instruments, all is right with the world. So they actively support cabaret artist Stefan Reusch in saving the previous year - on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in the Alte Schmiede in Stöffel Park.
The Westerwald band Schräglage, founded in 2003, usually has six members on stage: Johannes Pfeifer (bass, banjo, vocals), Marian Zygmunt (clarinet, saxophone), Peter Krämer (trumpet), Eckhard Hannappel (trombone), Walter Siefert (piano) and Willi Welters (drums).
Each of them impresses with their skills - whether singing about the “Honeysuckle Rose”, the “Little Green Cactus”, “Ice Cream” or “When the saints go marching in”.
Stefan Reusch's performances are surrounded by lively pieces of music. He has long been known to many radio listeners. In addition to the satirical weekly review (SWR3), he also works for WDR4 and WDR5, among others. Reusch, born in 1959, delivers his side-swipes - which range from dry to slightly sarcastic, while retaining a playful touch - in all political directions.
