The traditional Advent concert by the Marienstatt Chamber Choir in Hachenburg's parish church on the eve of the 4th Advent is a wonderful opportunity to get in the mood for Christmas. Advent. For lovers of good choral music, this evening is simply perfect. Now all listeners can simply sit back, enjoy and let themselves be carried away into the extremely rich musical world of Advent and Christmas literature. Every year, the Giovani Cantori youth ensemble and the chamber choir succeed in an exemplary manner in maintaining traditions at a very high level while at the same time introducing their audience to new and international works. This year, for example, in addition to beautiful Advent songs by German composers, there will also be challenging and atmospheric choral pieces by Scandinavian, English and French composers that fit in with the pre-Christmas period. The concert will be conducted by Veronika Zilles.
Tickets are available in advance for €13 from Hähnel'sche Buchhandlung in Hachenburg. Tickets at the box office cost €15. Children under the age of 14 are admitted free of charge.
