Get to know the Druidenstein hiking trail in Kirchen (Sieg)!
On October 3, 2024, you are cordially invited to hike kilometers for a good cause.
The Westerwald-Sieg and Neuwied savings banks have teamed up with Westerwald Touristik-Service GbR to set up a very special campaign: the Wäller fundraising hike.
For this purpose, donation pots of 5,000 euros each are being made available for the AK, NR and WW districts. The money will benefit associations that have initiated a fundraising project on one of the two donation portals "WirWunder" (for AK and WW districts) or "Heimatleben" (for NR district).
Choose your favorite route from three Wäller tours and three small Wällers. For each tour, each participant receives a donation coupon* worth 10 euros, which the respective savings bank will donate to a good cause. You decide which project will ultimately receive the donation you have raised.
The more people hike in our region, the more money is raised.
This is how the Wäller fundraising hike works
A team from Sparkasse/Westerwald Touristik-Service GbR will be present at the official start/finish of each round tour on October 3rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note these times when planning your tour.
At the beginning, all hikers will receive a small snack. In the middle of the tours there is a photo point where a group photo of all participants will be taken as proof. At the end of the route, the donation coupon* will be waiting as a reward.
The children will also have fun. There will be a small surprise at all starting points.
