By bus we drive together to the Raiffeisen Tower on the Beulskopf and start our tour there.
Here we have the opportunity to climb the wooden construction. From a height of almost 420 m above sea level, you have a magnificent view of our Raiffeisenland and far beyond.
The hike now leads us in the direction of Hilgenroth, which presents itself on a sunny plateau. Mostly via the WesterwaldSteig, with new views over treeless areas.
Narrow paths now take us up before we reach the pilgrimage site of Marienthal. Passing the Obersalterberger Hof farm, we treat ourselves to a rest at the mouth of the "Kupferner Kessel" mine.
With the Raiffeisen community of Hamm (Sieg) already in sight, we walk past the Thalhausermühle forest swimming pool and take time to pause at the Jewish cemetery.
The hike ends at the German Raiffeisen Museum. Then visit the museum and experience Raiffeisen in his birthplace!
