There is something for every taste and every weather condition! Let yourself be enchanted by the magnificent Cistercian abbey of Marienstatt. The famous place of pilgrimage is now considered one of the spiritual and cultural centres of the Westerwald. Built by the monks, the first Gothic church on the right bank of the Rhine in Germany is a marvellous work of art. Inside you will find one of the oldest choir stalls still in use in Germany,
the miraculous image of the ‘Sorrowful Mother of God’ and the large Rieger organ.
